What is the eligibility for joining MCA Course? The candidate shall be Indian nationals with B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Tech Degree of Kannur University (or any other degree accepted as equivalent thereto by the Kannur University) with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, with not less than 50% marks excluding languages in the qualifying examination are alone eligible to apply. Subject to the regulation relating to the prescribed minimum of the respective qualifying examination, the minimum marks for admission to the course of studies shall be 40% in the case of candidates belong to SC/ST. Those who are awaiting their final year degree results can also apply. However, their eligibility would be subject to the fulfillment of the minimum requirements. -
What is the eligibility for joining MBA Course? Candidates seeking admission to MBA degree shall be required to have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in any stream from Kannur University (or equivalent to any University recognized by the Kannur University). They are required to have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate. Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes and other backward communities are eligible for concession of 5% of the marks in the qualifying examination. Those who are awaiting their final year degree results can also apply. However, their eligibility would be subject to the fulfillment of the minimum requirements. -
What is the procedure for getting admission for MBA at ChinTech? Candidates who seeks admission for MBA program at Chinmaya Institute of Technology, Kannur are requested to visit Institute Office and register with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favor of Chinmaya Institute of Technology, Kannur, payable at Kannur (by Post - DD for Rs. 550) or may be downloaded from the Institute website and sent with the requisite application fee. Applicants who seek admission for MBA at Chinmaya Institute of Technology are also requested to apply separately and appear for the MAT examination to be conducted by AIMA. Is laptop mandatory for students of Chintech? Yes, Chintech students are supposed to have laptops at campus. Chintech negotiates with good companies to get high quality laptops. Students can get laptops from them. -
What is Learning Management System? Chintech provides the best use of web based interfaces for online study with open source Course Management System, Moodle. Students can access the resources and study materials over the link moodle.chintech.org (Available within Chintech Intranet). Faculties as well as students can add relevant information to the knowledge database.
