Annual Day Celebrations 2009 – A brief report

The 7^th Annual day celebrations went off well for three days as on 16^th , 17^th and 18^th of December 2009. The function was Inaugurated on Wednesday, 16^th December 2009 at 9:30 at Chinmaya Institute of Technology, Kannur by Sri. Kuttykrishnanan A. P and Sri. Unnikrishnan P. V as the Chief Guests for the day.

The function began with the prayer song by the college choir. Swamini Apoorvananda Saraswathi lighted the Holy Lamp. Mr. C. H. Kiran , Students Union Chairman welcomed the gathering.

On Thursday 17^th December 2009 a keynote address by Sri. Shatrunjay Rawath, associate professor of IIIT, Hyderabad. Institute Day was celebrated on the same day at 4:30 pm. Dr.K.K. Falgunan, Director,Chinmaya Institute of Technology and presided over the function. The chief guest Sri. V. S Anil Kumar Inaugurated the function. There was a live performance by Sri. William Isaac, Asianet Idea Star Singer Fame followed by the various cultural programmes organized by the Chintech students.

On 18^th December 2009, a keynote address by Prof. Prabhakaran Paleri Director, MBA program NIT Calicut and Sri. K. Abdul Rasheed gave the valedictory speech.
