The Eligibility and Criteria for applying the course are as follows:

Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates seeking admission to MBA degree shall be required to have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in any stream from Kannur University (or equivalent to any University recognized by the Kannur University). They are required to have secured at least50% marks (for SC and ST candidates 40% and for OBC 45%)in aggregate. Those who are awaiting their final year degree results can also apply. However, their eligibility would be subject to the fulfillment of the minimum requirements.

Admission is based on the total marks obtained at the qualifying examination, written test, group discussion and interview.

Areas of Specialization :

Finance, Marketing, International Business Management, Human Resources and Information Technology & Systems.

CIT Scholarship :

Three students out of 60 will be provided with 30,000 Rs per semester as scholarship on pure merit.

Six students out of 60 will be provided with 15,000 Rs per semester as scholarship on merit cum additional means.The recipient may be determined by students' academic, extra curricular abilities.

Selection :

Based on the performance in AIMA-MAT in December, February or May; and GD & Interview conducted by the Institute.

We have well managed, disciplined hostel for men and women with good facilities. The hostels are located inside the campus and walk able distance from the Institute. This would facilitate working for extended hours in the labs and interaction with faculty and fellow students. Some of the salient features of our hostels are:A common area in each floor with recreational facilities - indoor games, Audio-Visual systems, News papers, Magazines etc, Access to all games and sports facilities of the Institute, well furnished rooms,each to accommodate 2 with an attached bathroom cum toilet. We have one of the best computing infrastructure that can be pride of any academic institute and even better than industry standards.

High-end Intel Xeon dual Processor based two servers running enterprise grade operating systems providing Application, File,Web services, Web and E-mail servers.
AMD Phenom Quad core processor based server running for all the local services like learning management system, library system, digital library, and file services.
AMD Athlon processor acting as LTSP server for 45 thin clients.
Inter Pentium processor based server running as Wi-Fi server providing wireless internet access to the campus all the 24 hours.

Workstations:

First 64 bit processor based computing Lab in a college in Kerala. We have 60 systems based on the latest AMD Athlon 64 bit processors, apart from having Latest Intel Pentium 4 processor based (2.4 GHz, 0.13 micron fabrication technology based) 60 systems having one-to-one student-computer ratio.
We also owned a thin clients based computing lab connected to K12 LTSP server from which all the class rooms and some of the faculty members are also getting services.

Seminar Hall:

The Seminar Hall is the ideal venue for seminars by corporate , nonprofit, government organizations, and professional associations members to talk and deliver lectures to the students to provide them a better and closer insight into the working of their different fields. These conferences and lectures not only provide the students with a first hand information about the working of various fields but also gives them an opportunity to get their doubts cleared by asking questions from our guests.

The guests initially deliver their lecture telling the students about their work, the challenges they face, the difficulties they overcome and so on, and after that the students are given an opportunity to ask questions and clear their doubts if any.We have a spacious Seminar Hall with seating capacity of upto 200 with Audio Visual Support of a Multimedia Projector and a high quality PA System.

Tutorial Rooms:

We have tutorial rooms for individual attention and closer interaction between members of faculty and students. Through tutorials the teachers ensure that each and every students are well acquainted with the subject.

Conference Hall:

The central issue for the conference in progress is finding and examining good practices for integrating environmental considerations in the decision making processes, holding meetings and conferences. The Conference Hall has been designed to serve the needs of the campus by providing a venue for education, conferences, meetings, career development and College interaction. The College has an air conditioned conference hall which consists of a long conference table with seating arrangement for above 30 students. Mock Press Conferences by the students are also held here.

Industry Institute Interaction Cell:

Most of the faculty members at ChinTech are from various industries. This makes interaction with industry seamless and effective, since they understand work culture/ functioning of various industries. We already have started Institute-Industry Interaction cell (IIIC) and have invited many experts form Industry to visit the Institute to provide feedback and conduct seminars for ChinTech fraternity.

Students will be open to a wide range of opportunities to develop their practical skills in career development, leadership qualities and management skills through continuous and sustained interaction from various industries. This would help them evolve as leaders and trend setters in their respective fields.

Student Empowerment Programme:

As a part of this education system, off campus Student Empowerment Programmes are conducted during the course period inorder to enrich & empower the students. The main objective of the programme is to extend an opportunity to the students to interact with the outside world. Through this programme students are taken to various mission centres situated in the major Metropolitan cities in India such as Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin etc. During this programme Industrial visits, deliberations by noted industrialists & academicians, visits to historical places etc are conducted. The main focus of the programme is to expose the students towards the industrial ambiance of our country, besides orienting them towards the national heritage & culture which helps the students identify the strength of our motherland.
